Potentia Overview

Potentia is a brand new nation that has formed under the rule of Devop14 and Devop15. This new nations offers you the ability to start a brand new life. This can include starting a company and growing it from nothing into a multi million dollar business, starting a drug empire, joining mafia forces or creating a new rebellion against the government, purchase guns, rob eachother, purchase property, move into the wild to build a not-so-legal business, join the military to protect and strengthen Potentias force, run for positions within the government to lead Potentia into the right direction. The choice is up to you! Potentia offers you the potential, you just have to take it! JobsJobs can be found at /warp college. You can choose from a number of jobs, some of which pay you per action (cutting wood, mining stone, etc) - others pay you every 20 minutes. You can also join the mafia, police (requires application on forums), or the military which all start with low pay and prestige, but gradually increase as you work your way up the ranks. Government Announcements

How the Government Works

Potentia's government is a unique one as of now. We are such a new nation that we currently follow the United States laws as we have not written any laws specific for Potentia (this will be the job of congress). Currently, the nation operates under a monthly budget (+ $2,500) per unique server visitor. This means that for every unique server visitor, the federal government will be allowed an additional $2,500 to their budget. This budget is used to pay for upgrades towards the military, police, hospital, general city maintenance, and to upgrade the cities aesthetic.

NOTE: The federal government employees citizens and companies to complete government contracts commonly.

The General of The Military, Chief of Surgery, and the Police Chief are all given a monthly budget depending on the federal budget. This budget can be used to upgrade facilities, give out bonuses, improve operations, etc.

Potentia offers citizens the potential to receive grants for starting a new business. The grant can not exceed $5,000 and must be accompanied by filling out the below application. We know starting a business can be daunting so we are here to help! Good luck!
