How the Government Works

Potentia's government is a unique one as of now. We are such a new nation that we currently follow the United States laws as we have not written any laws specific for Potentia (this will be the job of congress). Currently, the nation operates under a monthly budget (+ $2,500) per unique server visitor. This means that for every unique server visitor, the federal government will be allowed an additional $2,500 to their budget. This budget is used to pay for upgrades towards the military, police, hospital, general city maintenance, and to upgrade the cities aesthetic.

NOTE: The federal government employees citizens and companies to complete government contracts commonly.

The General of The Military, Chief of Surgery, and the Police Chief are all given a monthly budget depending on the federal budget. This budget can be used to upgrade facilities, give out bonuses, improve operations, etc.
